even though the local school system will be
closed for Winter Break.
DIVA Birthday Parties at ASOD
Grab 12 of your favorite little girls and treat them to a Diva Party!
Select between Dancin’ Diva or Dress-Up Diva & leave the rest to us!!
Parties will be booked in 1.5 hours increments and they include
personalized invitations, plates, napkins, cups, utensils, ice,
full dress-up selection & a 1 hour dancing or runway session.
Dancin’ Diva Party Break Down: Special Routine to the song selected
by the Birthday Diva (made when booking the party) 10 min Warm-Up,
30 min. routine instruction, 15 min. costuming & 5 min Final Run Through.
Dress-Up Diva Party Break Down: 10 min Runway, Turn & Posing
Instruction. 30 min Wardrobe, touch of color & Music selection, 20 min.
(about 1.5 min each) for the divas to work that “Hot Pink” runway!!
The studio will provide the Birthday Diva with a CD of photos
taken during her party and her very own special t-shirt! Parties
must be booked 3 weeks in advance! Please contact Sarah

Diva Dance Party Specifics: Must be booked 3 weeks in advance! Personalized invites can be picked up 2 weeks prior. There must be at least 12 girl min/24 girl max., and the cost is $10 per “party” guest. Plates, cups, etc. are provided by party count, you may bring extras for “cake & presents” guest. Extras like cupcakes, drinks, ice cream, boas, t-shirts, goodie bags, tutu’s, etc. can be added to the party for an additional cost (notice must be given at booking).

Over the course of the first few weeks I have been surprised and astonished by the care (and lack there of) some have taken with the studio. This is a place we want the girls to want to come and to enjoy showing off to friends and family, however it is those friends and family that have me worried. We have had our sibling shelf absolutely destroyed, an antique table severely scratched, the springs busted out of the bottom of an antique chair, children run and jumping off sitting squares, children taking things (or parents handing them things) from a shelf labeled with a "Do not touch" sign and little ones climbing the walls right in front of parents. Did these items cost an amazing amount of money ... NO... but they are priceless because of what they mean to me. Please keep an eye on your children who are not dancing when you are at the studio.

The studio is excited to announce that we will be carrying not only Tap, Ballet and
Jazz shoes this year but also leotard, skirts, tutu's and other fun dance accessories!!
Revolution one of our costume companies is now offering shoes at a tremendous
savings to studios and their students.
Tap shoes (Buckle) will be $20- Child/$22–Adult;
Ballet Shoes will be $13 - Child/ $ 16 - Adult;
Jazz Shoes will be $25.
Children's Tank or Capped Sleeve Leotards will be $15.
Children's Tutus & Skirts will be $10 & Sparkly Tutu's are $12.
Children's Tights will be $8 Footed & $10 Footless
Adult Tights will be $10 Footed; $12 Footless & $14 Convertible
Adult Camisole Leotards will be $18.
Lyrical Shoes will be $15.
The studio ask students who are taking multiple classes like Tap & Ballet and Jazz to make sure and check their bags each week to ensure that they have the correct shoes for ALL their classes. Coaches would not allow players to wear flip flops on the soccer, football or softball field awill not allow it in dance either. Student will be calling home and sitting out of class if they do not have the proper footwear on. This is not only for their safety but also for the growth and educational purposes of dance.
ASOD Weather Alerts...
Lately we have watched as unstable weather conditions have moved in and out of our area, throughout mid-day and into our earlier dancing class times. Please be aware that the studio weighs both the risk of getting out on the road, as well as missing class time before making any decision to cancel a class. We work in connection with other Civic and Community activities to make a call that will be the most beneficial for all involved. The last thing we want to do is put a dancer or their family in harms way. Should weather conditions change while your dancer is in class, please do not attempt to come get them from class.
