Tuition & Fees

Tuition is due by the 10th of these months:


    August                                       November                                   February

    September                                   December                                      March

       October                                       January                                           April



The 2022 - 2023 Dance year is broken down into at least 36 dance practices, compressed classes, ULFAC rehearsals or recital dates. Some months have more and some months have them compressed into a shorter

period of time because of rehearsals and recital prep.   36 practices divided by 4 (average number of weeks in

a month) yields 9 months of tuition, from AUGUST to APRIL.  So even if it seems like a short month rest

assured the practices are accounted for and weeks are covered. 


 Tuition is due at the first class your student attends each month and considered late if it has not been paid by the

10th of each month.  At that time a $10.00 late fee will be assessed to the account. Past Due bills will be sent the

3rd week of each month and will include the late fee.  Students with a 2 month balance on their account will not

be allowed to participate in performances.  Tuition payments can be made several different ways.


1. To Pay By Check,please make sure your check is made out to "Armstrong School of Dance" or ASOD and

include the dancers name on the memo line. These need to be placed in the pink posted mailbox out front (it has

a locked inner slot) or given to our front desk. Receipts will be written and given to students at their next class.


2.   To Pay with Cash,  please make sure to give the tuition to the front desk and then WAIT for a receipt.

Accounts will only be credited from a receipt copy.  DO NOT JUST LEAVE TUITION ON THE FRONT DESK!!


3.    To Draft your Bank Account Monthly,  please complete an ACH form, attach a cancelled check (NOT

deposit slip) and return to the studio by the first class of the month.  The cost is the same as writing a check

it is just more convenient for you.


4.  To pay using a Credit Card.  The studio does accept credit card payments, however, there will be a 3% 

transaction/processing fee.  Not every account uses credit cards  to pay their tuition or fees, therefore we

do not feel it is fair for everyones tuition to increase for offering this convenience.  


4. To pay semi-annually or annually. Students paying semi-annually receive a 5% discount per tuition

payment (Aug & Jan), while students paying annually will receive a 10% discount up front (including

costume  & recital fees too) and is due in full by September 15th, this must be paid by check or cash,

NOT by credit card)  The annual discount drops by 1% at the beginning of each month that it is past due.


If you should ever have trouble with tuition and fees, please contact Sarah, as soon as possible,

to avoid accumulating late fees.  The studio does not mind working with tuition issues but we

must be made aware so we can assist.

These fees apply to the Costumes ordered for the Spring Recital and must be ordered

in December to ensure timely delivery!  There is no charge for the Christmas Costume,

unless you fail to return it or if there is damage to any parts





Annual Recital Fees

This fee covers both the Christmas and Spring Shows*, it includes 4 tickets per dancers

to their assigned show and their spring recital T-shirt.  General admission tickets will be

made available the week of the show for anyone extra you would like to include. 

(Cost is $ 5.00 per ticket) 

*This fee will be adjust depending on what we have to do if large gatherings still aren't allowed.
